Tended Ground brings community classes, workshops, co-working sessions, and scratch nights together in one place, so you can connect meaningfully with the dance community around you. You don't need experience or a dance background. This space is for anyone drawn to movement, making, and the people who do both.
We especially welcome those who have recently graduated, or who are simply looking to find their people.
CoExist has always been about community. Now we have a space to build one properly.

Come as you are. Bring what you're working on. Co-working & Conversations is a low-key, low-pressure gathering for creatives who do their best work alongside other people. Bring your laptop, your admin, your proposals, your half-finished ideas - whatever needs your attention right now. We'll bring the coffee. Pay as you can. Everyone welcome.

Come & explore creative process within the container of improvisation with CoExist co-founders, Kristen & Tenae. Space to dive in and explore deeper. Tended Ground workshops are led by creative practitioners from within the creative community. Each workshop offers the opportunity to explore a specific aspect of their practice or process. No two workshops are the same - check back regularly to see who is hosting. All levels are welcome. No prior dance experience is required, but an interest in movement is recommended.

SCRATCH NIGHT

INTERCONNECT STUDIOS
Some of the best feedback happens before the work is finished. Introducing Tended Ground's scratch night: a curated space for works-in-progress, developing ideas, and creative conversations. Share 10 minutes of something you're making and receive 10 minutes of facilitated feedback and discussion from the room. You can also come just to watch, listen, and be part of the conversation. You don't have to be presenting work to attend. Places for sharers are limited and offered by expression of interest. Keep an eye on our socials for when applications open.
